God has a tendency to slam a 2×4 over my head when I have something to learn and I’m just NOT getting it (or not listening)! lol He has such a sense of humor doesn’t He? I was listening to this particular Joyce Meyer sermon – her preaching is amazing to me – and it struck me! We have to persevere through this trial. We have to push on and push through. He has a great life for us and great things to give us.
James 1:2 says “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” – is this how you consider a trial you go through? As joy?
I’m with Joyce, it brought out a lot of things I didn’t care for!!! haha Maybe this will speak to you.
Listen to it with open ears and an open heart. Allow God to move within you and if you are prompted to act on something DO IT before that prompt goes away.
